Me Me Me!!!

  • Mood:
  • Movie of the moment: Beatles - Mother Nature's Son
  • Quote: Hardee's/Diet Coke

Trying to get in a good mood...and what comes on the radio, but "King of Broken Hearts"!

This week has been going fairly well.  Wednesday was my birthday and I was sure it was going to suck.  I went through work and did not get one "Happy Birthday"...and then, driving home from work, I checked my voice mail.  My Mom and Dad had called to wish me (and sing to me) a happy birthday.  The message really did bring a smile to my face.  My Mom sang Happy Birthday and then gave the phone to my Dad - who didn't sing, because he didn't want to scare me.  I love my family.  I almost forgot to mention that my brother Tim, Michelle, and Lacey all called to wish me a Happy Birthday - thanks...it really put me in a better mood.

I have decided to post a list of 'What I want to do before I die' here - a checklist or humor...I don't know.  But I will do some of it...so, here it is:

  1. Go Skydiving (definately can't let my family know about this one).
  2. Fly in a commercial plane (I flew over the Grand Canyon in a little personal plane - it was fun, but a bit scary.  I think they quit doing it because too many had crashed.  If anyone knows whether or not this is true, please post.)
  3. Go to a Con (A convention - yes...I am a geek...and I want to go to a sci-fi or a comic con)
  4. Get a Tatoo.
  5. Get a Siberian Husky.
  6. Learn different languages - currently working on Japanese.
  7. Write a book - the least likely entry on the list.
  8. Take an art class.
  9. Lose weight.
  10. Move to Chicago.
  11. Get a job in my field (Forensic Science - a lab tech)
  12. Try to make a Family Tree - find out who my ancestors are...and who they were.
  13. Get a massage (Get your mind out of the gutter!)
  14. Fire a gun.
  15. Try Sushi (Supposed to do this next weekend).
  16. Visit New York City and go up into the Statue of Liberty.
  17. Travel the World!!!

Quick question to any and all visitors...If you could have dinner with any 3 people in history who would they be?

In reguards to you list, I think it's darling. They're great ambitions, yet simple and innocent. Again, I love you, thank you so much for being my friend.
But as far as dinner--wow. I'd have to say Socrates, the leader of the Roanoke Colony, and Queen Elizabeth I. Close seconds include Winston Churchill (He'd be a riot, and probably drunk out of his mind..), Boudicca, Anne Frank, and Teddy Roosevelt (My hero). Oops, also Jane Goodall!
