Wow...I have actually been busy lately...kind of. This weekend was a bit uneventful. I was going to work on my Halloween costume, but my sewing machine was not working. Just yesterday I went over to my friend Michelle's house and used hers (with her instructing me on how to use it...hey, it HAS been awhile since I used one). I discovered that I was the problem with my sewing machine...not only did I put the bobbin in wrong, I was trying to sew incorrectly...don't ask me how...only I can find a way to make sewing hard. So, I have spent the past two nights working on my Halloween costume...and I am still not done; However, I have learned how to sew again...and I am getting better.
So, this Halloween I have decided to go as a Sith, so I am using the Anakin Skywalker pattern for my costume. While I know that this is a guys pattern/costume, the only Star Wars patterns for girls were a Padme outfit and a skimpy Jedi costume...ha, yeah right! So, where am I on the costume? I have the shoulder armor, belt, pants, and boots done...given...I already had the boots and pants, but that is beside the point.
Well, I must take my roommate to work. More later...along with a complete costume pic...hopefully.
